I am, Jesus Peregrina, a software engineer who likes jewelry manufacturing and would like to help jewelers to have handy tools for the day-to-day manufacturing or retail side of the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My family have a jewelry business since 1924 and we have continued with the business, factory, and retail stores in Mexico. I have been involved in most of the process to create a piece of jewelry from an idea to the showroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But what I really love is the technology, so when I join I start to work on the inventory and the small systems we had, moving to jewelry 3D design, 3D printing, computerized engraving, and some other technologies I could be involved with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After some time we struggle to find the ring size of a customer’s daughter, who was in Japan, I decided to research the many ring size standards that are used around the world, and this lead me to create my first Android app, the Ring Sizer app<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have started to work just in Android, but I am thinking on do this also in iPhone too.
